Balochistan, the largest province of Pakistan, has been mourning the death of its renowned Balochi poet, Mubarak Qazi. He passed away on 17th September 2023 in district Kech. Mubarak Qazi was a prominent figure in the literary world of Balochistan. He was born on 24th December 1956 in pasni, a small tehsil in district of Balochistan. He started his education in his village and later moved to Quetta, the provincial capital of Balochistan, for further studies. He obtained his higher education from the University of Karachi and Balochistan University.

Mubarak Qazi was a prolific writer and poet. He authored more than 24 books in both Balochi and Urdu, languages. His poetry and literature were widely read and appreciated by people from all walks of life. He was known for his strong grip on the Balochi language and his ability to express complex ideas in simple words.

Mubarak Qazi's poetry was deeply influenced by Balochistan's culture, history, and struggles. He wrote about the land, the people, their traditions, and the struggles of the Baloch people for their rights and freedom. His words were a source of inspiration for the Baloch youth, who saw him as a beacon of hope. Mubarak Qazi received numerous awards and honors in recognition of his services to the Balochi literature. He was honored with the prestigious award contributions to the field of Balochi literature.

Mubarak Qazi's death has left a huge void in the literary world of Balochistan. His contributions to the Balochi literature and his devotion to the Baloch cause will always be remembered and celebrated. His legacy will continue to inspire generations of Baloch poets and writer.
