The neglect of mother languages is a pressing issue that demands attention in Balochistan. Languages like Balochi, Brahui, and Pashto are integral to our identity, culture, and history. However, many children in Balochistan are losing touch with their native languages due to lack of proper education and promotion.
The loss of mother languages would mean losing a significant part of our cultural heritage, including poems, songs, stories, and traditions. It's essential that we take immediate action to support and promote mother languages.
I urge the government and education departments to:
* Include mother languages in school curriculum
*Develop books and educational materials in local languages
* Promote local languages programs and media
By preserving our mother languages, we promote our cultural identity and heritage.
