Favoritism is a problem that can harm institutions by creating an unfair environment where some learners get special treatment by instructors, making others learners feel unhappy, unmotivated, and less productive.
This undermines fairness and equality, giving some an unfair advantage while others are left behind, leading to resentment and demotivation.
No doubts, it is the noble duty of Institutions to treat everyone equally through providing opportunities and rewards based on merit, which creates a positive and inclusive environment. Fairness builds trust and promotes excellence, making people feel valued and respected and working harder to achieve more.
Additionally, fairness encourages creativity, innovation, and collaboration, leading to better outcomes and increased students participation in learning.
By promoting fairness and equality, we can create a more attractive and productive work environment, striving for a culture of meritocracy where everyone has an equal chance to succeed, and ultimately driving organizational growth and success.
