No doubt, Thalassemia is a nightmare for most of the people in Balochistan. As It's a genetic disease which is caused by marriage within the families. And there are nearly 1,735:cases of Thalassemia Major registered in Quetta. Thalassemia is one of the most common genetic disease and it is 1.5% of the world population.
Secondly, There are 2,000 children with Thalassemia in Balochistan and Thalassemia is caused by mutations in DNA of cells that make hemoglobin.
Hence, I would like to request the government to arrange separate organization team for Thalassemia children and do campaign in order people can donate blood for These children and save their precious life.
